Warranty for HORT brand products

Key Definitions

This document describes the relationships arising between buyers, sellers, and manufacturers of HORT brand goods. The key concepts used in this document are:

  • Buyer: A citizen who acquires HORT brand goods;

  • Seller: An organization that carries out the retail sale of goods to buyers;

  • Warranty Service Station (СТО – Service Station): An automobile technical service station that carries out the installation, warranty service, and repair of goods;

  • Warranty Service: Technical servicing of goods installed on the vehicle during the warranty period;

  • Warranty Period: The period during which, in case a defect is found in the goods, the Seller is obligated to satisfy the Buyer’s demands for free defect rectification, reimbursement of costs for their correction by the Buyer or a third party, replacement with a product of an analogous brand, or to demand a refund of the money paid for the goods and compensation for installation costs.

General Warranty Conditions

  1. The HORT trademark establishes a warranty period for its products of 12 months, provided that the requirements for storage, installation, and use, specified by regulatory documents, technical specifications, and actual condition, are met. This excludes goods for which, according to this provision, a warranty is not provided or the warranty duration is indicated in the Warranty Certificate.

  2. The manufacturer’s warranty extends only to defects of a manufacturing nature. The warranty period begins from the moment the goods are purchased by the buyer or from the moment the part is installed on the vehicle at a Service Station.

  3. The HORT trademark guarantees the high quality of its products. To ensure safety and maximum effectiveness, the HORT trademark recommends that only trained specialists, in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions, be allowed to perform all preventative and repair work. In case of improper or unqualified installation of HORT TM products, the company is not responsible for warranty obligations.

  4. Should a warranty case arise during the warranty period, please return the product to the seller, presenting the following necessary documents:

    • Warranty Certificate;

    • Sales or Cash Receipt;

    • Service Station Work Order (if the part was installed at a Service Station).

  5. Warranty is not provided in the event of:

    • Non-compliance with the installation rules established by the car manufacturer;

    • Incorrect selection of the spare part;

    • Presence of mechanical damage;

    • Improper storage or operation, or damage to the spare part as a result of a traffic accident (TTA);

    • If the cause of the product failure was a malfunction of another part or assembly;

    • Installation of the spare part on a vehicle that was subjected to extreme operational loads, used in racing, rallying, etc.;

    • Natural wear and tear of the part (for brake pads, brake discs, brake drums, clutch discs and baskets, drive belts).

Warranty Certificate

The Warranty Certificate for HORT brand products is a document that contains all the necessary data for the user and the auto mechanic. The following information is entered into it:

  • Name and article number of the HORT brand product;

  • Name, address, and phone number of the selling organization;

  • Date of sale;

  • Seller’s signature and seal of the selling organization;

  • Mark of work carried out for installation and technical maintenance;

  • Name and address of the Service Station (СТО);

  • Date of installation;

  • Make, model, year of manufacture, and mileage (km) of the vehicle.

Warranty Certificates are included in the packaging of HORT brand products. The Warranty Certificate confirms the originality (authenticity) of the HORT brand product’s origin. The official HORT brand Warranty for HORT brand products is provided only upon presentation of a correctly filled out HORT brand Warranty Certificate.
